I've been looking for quarter panels for my 60 2 door falcon wagon for weeks with no luck, it seems all the companys out there are just making patch panels for sedans and coupes. Any help would be great.
That's what I was wondering myself but I couldn't even find replacement panels for a ranchero! I know they have to be out there but I guess I'm just not looking in the right places.
That's what I was afraid of hearing slysball. Did you need any special tools, brake, planishing hammer, english wheel, etc.? I wanna get into metalshaping but don't have more than body hammers and a shot bag, I'd try my hand with this at it if I can or have to as it's starting to sound.
I'll have to call them then, I saw they had panels but it didn't say anything about them fitting a wagon.
I waffled as to answer this or not, but years ago, no one made patch panels for any of the Falcons. On my '62 coupe I took the top of a junk fender, up towords the headlight and found that it's conture is the same as the rear quarter. I used that as a patch panel with very little reshaping. You might think along those lines.
Thanks again guys, that's a good idea louvers I have a couple extra fenders laying around so I'm gonna have to take a gander at how it'll work but it may end up being the easiest way around making them.
You might try Dearborn Cl***ics also. I got some rear quarter patch panels from them years ago for my '63 Sprint. Four pieces (two per side) below the beltline, mighta cost me about $600 then. Not cheap. At all.
When I was at Desert Valley Auto Parts in Phoenix 2 years ago, I saw an early Falcon wagon and a sedan delivery there being parted out. You might check their website. They ship everywhere.
