that looks like the one my cousin built in the summer of 72' that was never finished. he used to start the engine and speed down the long hill by their house making everyone thing it was being pulled around by the engine. cool setup paul!

Haha, that thing kicks ***! Isnt it hard to steer with the handlebars down like that? I did that to one of my bicycles when I was a kid and was crashin into stuff. :)

Yes, I have wanted one every since Zach Suhr built that one and this one was so much cheaper to own I knew it was my turn to have fun. And yes it is harder to ride with the handlebars turned down like that but looks are more important than crashing at this point. You know what they say, "It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt." ha ha--

I've been researching those "Board Track" style bike conversions for a while. There is a whole universe of guys biulding these things. From junk to museum quality. Engine kits vary from China to Honda so do your own research - some are really bad. Everything you need is easily available.

Not this time old buddy. I think it will be fun to have 2 of them to ride when I get visitors here and also to take to events like the hamb drags and the Lead Sled show, Iola swap meet and so forth.

We had one last year as the pit bike at Speed Week. It was built with one of the Chinese rik-sha motor kits. Top speed about 30mph, plenty fast enough.
