    I just hope it wasn't grabbed by a "s****per"!!!
If it was, it may get processed as just another old mustang.............

That is the ***le setting on the cowl. That was from the day the car was bought. It was being shipped back to Nebraska. The guy I had hauling the car had to stop by a salvage yard in Griffin, GA to pick up some parts, he unhooked for 10 minutes to load the back of his truck and the car and trailer was gone. The police are not helping....there was a coupe of guys on the AR15 forum that saw it at the Salvage yard the day it was stolen, an the next morning one guy thought he saw it being pulled down the hwy. That is as much info as I have. The police did not even take the VIN from the car. It does not take long to realize your not in a little city any more.
Thanks for the help and support.

  5. Sounds like your hauler should be on the hook for the value of the car, then, his negligence is what let it get stolen.

And for future reference, the paperwork gets mailed back and forth, not left in the car; if the hauler needs something he gets a photocopy.

I have the ***le for the car...no issues there. I left with the ***le, and had a hauler pick it up the car.

Unhooked for :10 and it was gone?
Almost sounds like the hauler was being followed, or may be in on it!!

I wouldnt be surprised if the guys who took it were prepared to harm your Uncle to get the car. If there was only a ten minute window in which they had to take the car these guys were most likely ready for anything and just got lucky with him unhooking it.

I'd almost wonder if it was stolen that quick if it was stolen for the trailer. We see car on/in trailer thefts all too often but which is the real target of the thief at the time?
Not to knock the car but you might end up finding it dumped somewhere because it wasn't the actual target of the thief. It might do to post photos and description of the trailer too.
