    This past weekend, I made a few adjustments/alterations to the Telstar. I raised the fins and deck three inches to make the car transition better from the cowl to the deck area,,,I tweaked the fins, I adjusted my door opening. Now that the proportions are looking where they need to be, I asked James D if he could perform some of his photoshop wizardry yet again. As always, he said it wouldn't be a problem. I wanted to see the car in a pearl white with gold expanded metal in the cove and gold in the center of the wheelcovers. His FANTASTIC rendering is below. I couldn't be happier and I wanted to acknowledge James' efforts and thank him for all he has done for me. I know a lot of you guys he has helped feel the same...

    THANKS JAMES!!,,,,,,,,,,YOU RULE!!!:D:D:cool::D:D

    James D is the Jim Sibley of photoshop. I think he's changed the car in Photoshop more times than you've changed it in real life. I especially like the color keyed hubcaps on this one.

    Hey,

    BOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You build now, G.I.??????????????????

    Jim-try this, unplug the phone, park your truck over on the next block, close the shop doors and lock 'um, now start weldin'! Don't stop 'till you run outa wire or energy. I've found this to be the only way to get things done!

    Good luck!

  12. Are you sure someone didn't find a missing GM Motorama showcar from about 1954? Damn that looks good.

    Beautiful. What about doing away with the gold in front of the front wheels? Make it white instead?

    That is really starting to look like it is coming together now. I like it with the raised fins and deck, it looks a lot more balanced front to rear now.

    Though I still think his version of Photoshop has a few extra tools that nobody else has.;)

    If THAT doesn't get you to stop thinking of changes and finish what you have I don't know what will.......IT IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! JamesD you did an outstanding job on showing Kustom777 what an incredible car he is building! WOW! That talent both of you have - and sharing with us on the HAMB is why I love this place! Keeps me inspired on both my PS skills and car building skill! Can not wait to see it done!
    Thanks
    Larry

    lol,,,,it IS "REAL"....the metal is all in place beneath the photoshop work,,,,,,

    i feel like the "boy that cried wolf",,but i can honestly say
    i am THRILLED with the proportions of the car now,,,,,there are still a few remaining details to be worked out,,,but they are minor,,,,,
