As usual, your paintjob is F'ing awesome!!,Travis!! Will you and dad be making it out to the York US 30 reunion race up at Beaver Springs?I'd love to see that 34' in person..
hey thanks guys..im not sure.i used to race there every year.we do go to the show at the fairgrounds.mayb we can take the coupe there.
Yeah,Travis,We met up there a few times..You probably don't remember me,I have an old AMX dragcar with a nostalgic looking 70's paintjob we talked about you re-doing at some point..I'd still like to have you do my car..Just time and money aren't in the cards right now.. Keep up the great work,we'll run into each other again.. George
heck yeah..i remeber you.man id love to paint that car some day.hopefully i can make the drags this yr c ya
So it is a blue base with a YELLOW candy over it to get the green? How did you guys come up with that combo? I ***ume you had to play with some test panels?
you got some nice words from everyone on that coupe'.....looks great from here too. endless line on the glovebox is blowing my mind....haha. what happened to the middle door hinges? Looking forward to seeing it finished. I'm at about the same point on an early 60's street '34 5 window with a built 348...
hey thanks again..Dan u build some sick stuff.i'd like to see your coupe. my Dad shaved the middle hinge.the blue is a HOK base and it has Spanish gold on top.kinda ****ed to paint.we just wanted a diff look.the chop was done when we got it.it was horriable..they took a nice amount out.like 5 1/2 or so in the front we think.my Dad had to do a **** load of bodywork on the car.i'll post up some before pics sometime
Man this car is really nice, the color, lace, panel, flames, endless stripe is out of hand. Damm nice car.
Love the car! I'm building a 34 mid-60's style coupe . . . similar in some respects, but it won't be as eye-catching on the paint scheme. I love the paint - just stands out and is different than everybody else. Takes some balls to paint a car that color - fantastic job on it! The stance is right, chop looks good . . . should be a fun car to drive. If you were up in Central CA - you'd have to get a sponsor: "The Andersen's Pea Soup Special" --- anybody from up that way will know the name! http://www.peasoupandersens.net/
Man, this is looking awesome! Glad your dad took a break from drag racing to finish this up! Looking forward to riding up to York together
hey thanks guys,Arvid thanks for takin the pics..my Dad is going to try to light the motor up tomorrow.
