    Hey gang,

I came across some pictures of an all electric hot rod from Viva Las Vegas show.

Anyone know anything about or have any info on it?

An electric rat rod... how original.

Edit: I'm all for electric cars, I dig cool ones. This, however, is just a rat with a different drivetrain, IMHO.

I don't see how this relates to Traditional Hot Rods and Customs. Especially with the fake air scoop... it's got the R word all over it.

I vaguely remember seeing a truck starter motor powered dragster in Hotrod magazine around the early '60's, so it could be considered a "traditional" idea.

Putting the fake gas engine "stuff" over the batteries and motor reminds me of when Franklin put a "radiator" on their air cooled cars... Unnecessary silliness!
Other than that, it's an ok thing to do with half a Fordor.

the novelty is out weighed by the waste of a good fordor

i wouldn't classify it ass a rat though. to many new parts that haven't been "aged" or pulled out of the trash plus it looks like its got Recaro seats. somebody slap that guy and tell him hes doing it wrong

If you can't hear the rumble of the engine what's the point. Pull that junk out and put a real drivetrain in.
