Me and the misses want to thank the whole so-what gang for making us fell at home this weekend. If I get the pictures back soon I post some too. Make room for us in scotty-town next year we will be there.
I was born in ***berland Md. Nothin like that went on there then. My Dad was about the only guy with a Hotrod. Dean
It was cool meeting everyone, FINALLY! Couldn't make it back down Sunday, miss anything? Lighting campfires will never be the same!
I cant wait to go next year- I was bummed that I forgot about this year- My mom and all my family lives in ***berland and it has always been an interesting place for cars. I have been digging through old family pix everytime I go there and always find cool pix of my pappy's harleys and customs from the 40's. They both settled down in the 50's and bought family cars but my uncles kept it alive racing and bulding cars in the 60's and 70's. They finally moved back after a stint in Illinois, so vacations there now should be a little more fun.Did they have any races?
Hey gears-n-grease, ask your family if they remember a guy named Herman Garlitz from the ***berland/Frostberg area. He's my Dad. He ran a black, Vette fuel injected, 40 Chevy coupe, (still has it). He bought it in 57. We moved to Calif. in 69. He still lives in Turlock Calif. Dean
will definatly do- My family is the Michaels from Frostburg and Carns from ***berland - My uncle just moved back from Illinois after hooking up the deal on the HEMI from JOEDIRT- my uncles were stoked to get pix with the car.
Looks like a good time was had by all. I would have had a tough decision, sitting in the pool with the dudes or fairground cruz in Clarks truck with the ladies Bring that pool to York next year and we'll fill it with chocolate pudding. Love to wrestle Johnny Long Hair in a pool of pudding instead of mudd Thanks for sharing the photos
Rumor from one of the other boards is there will be no camping at York next year. If it's true that ****s!
Consider the source of that info. Means NOTHING to me till I hear it from NSRA directly. The informer has been known to spread huge rumors.
I did consider the sorce Denise, that why I said it's a rumor. I wouldn't get in a uproar until it's confirmed. Did you get all the salt out from under Big Olds yet?
