Now to only figure out how to set up my avatar .And everything else .Even the icon ****on on my computer .I hope someone over there can answer a question I had posted here before...
Been on there since the changeover, but I used a different name. Didn't think some of the geezers over there would appreciate the word 'hell' in my username. Haha!
Just joined last night. Man it looks like there will be a huge wealth of knowledge to be shared. I love it. -Mike
Glad Ryan has his hands in it! If it runs as good as the HAMB, which we all know it will, It will be another great hang out spot. Just wish I can get my joining verification back so I can get all of my info, avatar and social groups set up.....
been there for awhile but it's much better now (easier, faster to use). .........is this the line for medals?
I TRIED to join, but was told I was a "spammer". Have those guys been drinking with me? HOW DO THEY know?
I've been at the old Ford Barn for a couple of years. Very helpful. I like the new one better because it operates the same as this board. I found the old one a little ***bersome.
Having used The Ford Barn for years when looking for parts and advertising a few parts for sale to gathering knowledge from all the guys that have put in practice with my own projects. I never joined in the forum end of the site mainly because of my interest more in hot rods than the original side of restoration. That said, when Ryan took the reins from Shelly and introduced a more friendly user format I Joined up,Not that Shelly didn't do a good job with what she had to work with,Ryan just took it to a different level,,I retained the same user name as here. I believe a lot of the original Ford Barn guys will eventually show back up and a lot of Hamb guys jumping on the band wagon will gradually back off simply because it Is still primarily a site for and about the original cars. I also believe there is a lot of resentment with some of the old time Ford Barn guys,,they resist change while a larger majority of the older members have reluctantly embraced the changes Ryan has adopted and are really enjoying all the new features. I joined last week,.... I REALLY like the new format,... so much better and faster to use,... Ryan,... You da' Man ! When I signed up I got a Leather metal, with a Gold hole in it !
I did, took Roadster62 for a Ford Barn ID. I like it a lot, it is a STONE STOCK Ford website that Ryan saved when the founder desided to retire. Knowing this I try to keep my questions related to stock features so the people that started the site stay happy. HAMB is for HOT RODS I think there are more than a few of us with cars on both sides of the fence.
I joined when Ryan took over. Haven't used it very much yet, still have to remind myself I've now got two places to use up the time I should be out in the shop. Frank
Had a problem with my verification so I found the area to contact them http://www.fordbarn.com/contact-us and described my problem. They sent me back an email within a few hours that my verification had been established and I was all set.
I've got the same problem-need to come up with another username as I'm wondering if the Early Ford V8 restorers might hesitate to sell parts to me, LOL. New Ford Barn looks great though!
I've joined as well. I like the stock aspect of the Ford barn. I find stock/original/restored a nice break from this site. I always felt the old Ford barn cl***ifieds very convenient to use. I wish Ryan the best.
