Good deal, thanks for the heads up. Headed down to the local autozone and they had just received a shipment with a few cases so I picked one up.

The REGULAR VR1 is 4.29 a quart. The SYNTHETIC VR1 is the higher price.

Both are available half of that right now. 12 quart maximum per day.

The register will automatically catch the maximum deal. The way around that is to show up later, or the next day, or just have a cool parts guy that will just ring it up twice.

    Good deal.

Just scored 17 more quarts less than an hour ago. I was honest and told the guy I would take the 12 quart maximum. HE pointed out that he had 5 more quarts he could sell me on a separate sale if I wanted it. Sure!

PS: The rebate link above is good through JULY, but is only good for 2 cases per household (Buy two and get a rebate back on one...) Still a good deal if you need it.

Make sure you have them give u one of the Autozone points cards!
Here at my local store they credit ur Autozone card before they take the half off, so you buy two cases for like $56 and you get $20 on ur Autozone card....... so next case is $8 =)
    Thanks Groucho

Went back out for more oil this afternoon. I went to 3 different stores than I did yesterday. Well all but one, I went back to the first store I went to yesterday. Wound up with 2 1/2 more cases. One case and two FL-1A oil filters only cost me 12 bucks using my AutoZone card at one store. All totaled I got 9 cases of oil (@ $2.15/qt.) and 16 FL-1A oil filters (@ $3.99 ea.) in the last two days. And I already had a new case of oil and a filter at home! That's about enough for me. What a SMOKIN" deal!

I got oil changes for a while now. My '65 Ranchero (Not OT?) takes 7 quarts, my OT Ranger takes five quarts, and my OT Volvo 850 takes 6 quarts.

Thanks again Groucho! Have A Great Day!

Got to my closest store this PM and got their last 12 quarts of 20/50. That's enough for the two toys this year.
