68 and 69 f100

    been doing some research, but having some trouble finding what exactly the difference is between a 68 f100 and 69 f100. could someone please help me out on what the differences in appearance are thanks.

    Try the Ford Trucks website over at ford-trucks.com The HAMB is for 64 and earlier traditional hot rods.

  4. There's not much difference. I never could tell '67-'68-'69 apart. Don't know if carbon 14 dating could narrow it down that close.
     
  5. 1967 is the odd year. '67 the heater control uses knobs in '68 they went to slide controls. It was the beginning of the Nader safety blitz. All Ford's controls and door handles got rounded that year to reduce cuts etc. in an accident.

    No need to apologize, it's hard to tell if someone, me in this case, is being a jerk, or just passing on some info. In this instance, I was just lettin' you know. FTE, the ford trucks website is to Ford Trucks as the HAMB is to traditional rods.

  8. 67 has small radio opening,and has no lock buttons,thats the only diferences i can tell...

    The grilles are different. This may not be the place for it, but they are cool trucks. I had a 70 shortbed that I still miss like hell!
