Girls/women on the HAMB

Wow seems like this post has raised a lot of interesting questions. Gold digging girls? Whether a guy wants a female car buddy? I think it would be kind of scarce for a gold digger around these parts, most guys are putting all their time, energy, and cash into their hotrods. If there is one thing I have learned from owning a car it's that it costs a lot of money. Getting it is usually the cheapest part, its storing it, getting the tools to fix it, and finding the parts to fix it with thats the expensive part.I don't know if most guys want a female car buddy, I know that my boyfriend likes having someone he can teach and talk about cars with, I think working on a project and solving problems together, makes a relationship stonger. And a little grease under the nails is just proof of the hard work you've accomplished.

 

If you guys would marry a gal just because she works on cars, I can see why the divorce rate is so high. Thats almost as bad as basing a marrage on how someone looks.

My wife likes cars, she has helped me do things on a hot rod on a few occasions. She tells me what she likes or dislikes about our cars. She helps make decisions and helps pay for things we want or need, but that is just icing on the cake, and not why I married her 28 years ago.

You guys really need to wake up. There really is more to life then just cars, and I am a car guy.

I have to agree Ive known some prissy chicks that hate hot rods and loud cars and they usually **** in bed ( and i dont mean that in a good way!

 

Gracie I'm there with ya on the dark nail polish. Had a guy I dated once tell me he didn't like the smell of hand cleaner because he knew it meant I was wrenching that day....I'd rather be alone for all eternity then put up with a man that doesn't like me building and driving. I'm not arm candy, I'm a hotrodder, DEAL WITH IT. For those who do appreciate it, bang on!

Here's a few HAMB gals that I know of off the top of my head. I think that pretty much everyone on this list works on their own stuff. I'm sure there are many more, but it's early and my brain isn't warmed up yet. I've also met a surprising number of girls who wrench on traditional cars on my space. There are even some all girl hot rod clubs out there like Hell's Belles and Radiator Hoes. I'm not sure if any of those gals are on here, but it's possible.

Well then @ least we can be ***ured this one won't use the HAMB as a dating service....since all of us gals wrench on our own rods. I think the thing you fail to realize is that even though we wrench on cars, we still look like absolute *** kittens....what can I say, we're multi-talented; EAT YER HEART OUT MS. AMERICA!

I found the secret to getting replys! mention something about the ladies or Chicks! I posted earlier today and only got nine hits and no reply's!....hahaaaaa! now thats funny right there!... Oh and by the way ladies that wrench and ride or cruise is cool with me and there usually much more pleasing to the eye then my wrenching buddies.

Ah gee thanks Mike....but to be honest I have a real ****emiftheycanttakeajoke at***ude. Seems to get me thru all the gold chain wearin, middle aged men with more hair on their backs then their heads that can't handle a woman in the garage! I do love the guys who appreciate a wrenchin gal!

I have no problem with a woman working on cars. I don't think any hobbie should be appointed to any one ***. I really appreciate my girl. She will come out to the garage and wrench on my projects and get greasy with me then turn around and get all gussied up and look just stunningly beautiful for a trip to dinner and the movies.
