Thanks for the pics, Jeffy. Sorry I wasn't more hospitable when y'all came by, but I was busy beating myself up for the cracked weld in our drysump tank. Loaded her up, drove back to the shop, pulled the engine (only way to get to the tank), welded it up, reinstalled the engine, and was back at the track by 1 am!Unfortunately, during warm up Sunday morning, the repair proved inadequate (tho it had p***ed the "wet test" at the shop) and we never made a p***. New drysump tank for Bonneville!Due to my fabricating failure(s), I didn't get to check out the 'Bones cars, so thanks again for posting the pics. vic

Well I was supposed to but someone dropped the ball so I went up myself and found out Dustin and Kenny....and Franke we right behind me. Next time we should all be heading up as a club.

JJ ... pick a cl*** and build specifically for it ... I picked 1000cc pushrod motorcycle and it is a ton of fun ..... bike doesnt always perform as expected but the community of Land Speed Racing is what makes it fun. Todd Dross, who competes in the same cl*** helped with some hardware a couple years ago and I was taking his record. It speaks for how it works ... Bonneville spirit in NC...
