Hi all. 29y/o hobbyist from just outside Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Lurked here a bit before, but just recently decided to join a few forums relating to my old chevy and bikes. I've been working on a 1950 Chevy Styleline Deluxe sedan for a couple years now. It was my only 4-wheeled transport so after 8 months in the garage i drove it all last season with the stock drivetrain and had a great time. It's more reliable than the 8y/o truck I bought last fall as a "sensible" vehicle. Cheaper too. If it weren't for the winter up here, I wouldn't bother with anything newer than '65, but I don't have the heart to ruin real vehicles in the salt. Well this is the first forum I've ever bothered to write an intro for so hopefully this is allright. I'm still new to the etiquette of all this stuff so bear with me. I'm socially retarded in real life and that doesn't change just because I'm typing instead of talking. I didn't realize the community involved in this stuff, I just thought it was a place to share tech and look for answers. Generally i'm a "won't join any goup that would have me as a member" type of guy but we all grow up sometime right?
