Event Coverage West coast kustoms cruisin nationals 2010 santa maria the cruise is back

After looking at the forecast it actually is going to be perfect for a car event. Sunny but not too hot and muggy.

 

I'm all registered and leaving Friday AM.. Plan to stop in Salinas to hook up with Fatcaddi and the Deadend Bros caravan... Hope to get there just after noon.. My Troka is ready to go now, but it ant leaving with out me... Can hardly wait....

Got the car back on the road today and I'm ready!!!!

 

My plymouth is packed and ready. Plan on leaving 4am wednesday. gonna be my second year coming out and has to be one of the best. Now i just have to figure out what im going to do for a month in CA. Sure i can find something to do.

anyone who has spent time on the central coasts knows how windy it gets in April and May, and the last week has been howling...so if you have allergies make sure you come prepared, and bring stakes for your easy-ups. Gonna be fun can't wait for the cars to start rolling into town

One week after Santa Maria you can hit the Pomona Swap meet on the 6/6. Who knows you may end going back with 2 cars!!?

If this is the place their website says they don't open till noon. Perhaps if this is the case someone should call and let them know there will be a large group of us and they might perfer to open at 11am for us to get us in and out before their normal lunch crowd.

We ate there last year way before Noon. I get there in exactly an hour, and I know we left here way before 11AM. I'm pretty sure, as restless as we get, we left my place 9.30-10 O' Clock. Any way, we were headed for Winchesters last year, to find out they don't open for lunch during the week. So, we walked up the street where we stumbled onto that Pizza joint. So, if they are closed this time, we'll just walk to some other joint. It'll be a good way to sample someone else's food.

 

Yes, and I believe he's on the HAMB. He offered to deliver Pizzas to the Motels last year I believe for the Primer Nats

 

John called and they open at 11:30. We will meet you there by that time. Save us a seat, Me, Megan and I hope KiwiKev will join us as well.

 

We get hungry pretty early. I eat lunch almost every day by 11, or my stomach's in knots. My buddy's are the same way. Hell, I'm getting hungry now. I'll have to whip up a half a meatball sandwich real quick here. Anyway, we'll prolly end up on Main St well before they open and just eat somewhere on Main that is open. Just like last year. Pot luck
