havent made any progress in a while, so no new pictures. but i did make my top, and wired up all the lights and everything else. so its almost ready, except for door windows, but thats it!

the top is made from cordura. seems to be pretty tough, and it shrinks in the sun light. i really think it turned out well. i didnt take any closeups, but whatcha guys think?

very nice! Hope you make it down to Laramie again this year, I would love to check out the progress since the last time I saw the car.

  17. Very cool Trey. Did you make it a panel from a two door or four door? Or is that the stock body?

it was a two door, coupe. engine is a 364 nailhead with a th400 behind it.

brick, looks a little better than last year huh? i plan on making it again this year, but ill drive the whole way.

its going to get painted sometime. but for now, i wanted to drive it, and it still needs a little body work, so its flat black.

    thanks for the comments guys!

I think you got all of the proportions right. I'll even say it's the coolest sedan delivery type thing I think I've ever seen. Much cooler than just sticking a panel behind a sedan window. Cowl and doors - from a Pontiac or what?

cowl, doors, grill, frame, all from a 28 dodge. front end is a ford 1 ton, rear end is out of a maverick. its a friggin blast to drive with the nailhead too.

there is a picture on this link of what i started with.
