  6. Those videos are so cool! We are all riding along in our minds, what a great feeling it is, to experience the reawakening, of a fine old deuce. Thanks for taking us along, now get us some in car footage, that way we know your better half is also along for the ride.;)

  8. Its great to see the resurrection of an old Deuce from its many years of rest. It is truly amazing how many have survived the last 78 years!

No big news to report here, except I got it out on the main roads today. It was the first fillup at a gas station since 1956. Kinda cool I guess.

I put high octane in it out of "old car" habit. While pumping, a friend of mine reminded me of the slightly less than 5:1 compression ratio of the banger. Guess it coulda ran just as good with the low octane cheap stuff!

Man, that is too cool. Great job reviving an absolute classic! How many guys out there still would have immediately started planning something with Porsche epoxy and a tweed interior? You totally did the right thing here. Congrats.

Was this gas station on Rochester Rd and the building on the opposite corner with the dark wood siding and severe roof slope a animal hospital?

I stayed in Troy over the weekend for a Corvette thing at Cauley Chevrolet. When I passed by this intersection I had a strong feeling I'd seen this spot recently.

Well, spent some dough recently with Coker Tire now that I am an Alliance Member again. I really think these tires help the looks of the car! Also got some '47-'48 Merc caps on a trade with a friend.

Tail/brake lamp and head lamps are now working. Put in a new floorboard that was missing, and the brake performance is much much improved after more work on them.

Next thing on the list (if nothing else breaks first) is some repairs to the choke cable so I don't have to lift the hood on cold starts.
