Im from sacramento ca im 33 and im a diesel mechanic. im gathering parts for my rat rod build. what im trying to do it take a willys cj5 and turn it into a roadster pickup got an old mud bogger body and cj5 frame to start with the body has no firewall or floor so i can shorten it a few feet and narrow it to model a dimentions. the body and frame are at my buddys ranch in lodi so im going to take a bunch of measurements of the frame and bring the body home so i can start bracing and cutting it up.

Hello and welcome to the HAMB, but I would refrain from the "rat rod" term on this site. This site is dedicated to traditional hot rods & kustoms. Just a friendly heads-up.

thanks for the welcome and advice. I didnt mean to offend someone but someone seems to be too hung up on ***les. hot rod, rat rod who cares what its called we all are expressing our creativeness (is that a real word) and enjoying the car culture isnt that why we all are here.
