What spindles would you all recommend for the straight tube axle for my A/FX?I need something that take some pounding,I don't want any new stuff that will kill the look. Also who can build me an axle?

If you read the shaky pudddin front axle install thread, he gives some good input on all that. I am taking his advice for the straight axle I'm putting in my Dart. Ch***is Engineering forged spindles (like early Ford, but new and real strong) plus a .250 wall chrome moly axle from Jim Tinsmith. Search it here and read the thread. It gives you Tinsmith's phone number; but don't call to B.S., he's a busy guy.
    good luck!

I called Ch***is Engineering and the guy that I talked to said "we aren't into that (straight axle) stuff". He said they carry MustanfII and S-10 stuff (spindles).

Myself I would run original Hernry spindles, 15 years ago while I was running vintage modified stock car one of the guys was running Speedway 54 chevy spindles and breaking a couple a season? Ive never broken a original ford spindle, Bent but not broken.
