hello from West Texas

    just recently joined this site. there are some sick rides on here. i just picked up a very rough 27 t coupe. plans are for some rust repair, and to fix a bad chop. this will be the future home of my lil 270 dodge hemi. i have a long road ahead of me and a lot of learnin to do. hopefully you guys can help keep me motivated and see me through to the end. many thanx and God bless.     Cool Wyldebill! I can't help you with the hemi, but I have had plenty of adventures working on a '27 T.Learned how to weld 18 gauge on mine and that can be nerve wrecking lol. Are you using the original frame? I ask because I did and they are pretty dang narrow. They work obviously, but can get a bit cramped with pedal assembly and so on. Get flustered/have really,really simple questions let me know because I'm the guy for that job. Now go cut that thing up!

    Not using the stock frame. I'm gonna build my own using the stock one as a guild. Do you have any suggestions where 2 get sheet metal 4 this beast?

    I got most of mine from Maverick Metal in Ennis, but there is a place in Dallas with some really nice stuff. I only used them once and right now I can't recall their name. You have to watch Maverick because they'll try and sell you warped/rusty sheets. I'll holla back with more info.
