Federal Mogul lists a Precision 234 or 235 for a 57 olds. http://www.power-21.com/federalmogulpower21i/Application.aspx?yr=1957 and you can buy em just about anywhere, Summit, napa etc.
Here is a link to one driveshaft co site that has a pretty good U joint chart. http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/index.html Their U joint page complete with Spicer numbers that are easily crossed. http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/c130_universal_joints.html The closest I can find is for a Dodge. The 7260 series.
Go to fusicks website and call them them they got them in stock and have many other parts for olds stuff.
ihanks, its not a 234 or 235, 7260 dodge joint is close , but way too narrow. kanter gave me the mes of theirs and its not right, ive been through my spicer and precision books and looked by dimension at least 10 times...so far my choice is dennys yolk for 200.00 or maybe fusik.im reallly having a hard time with this...having 2 olds rearens with the same yolks makes it worse as i know it hasent been modified...thanks guys
