I thought I would post up some pics. of some doors that I am just about done with. This truck came in with just a cowl, I cut down a regular 34 cab back and rolled the edge and then I made the doors. The doors are 3" longer than stock and they are 100% scratch built. I also added a rocker and made the door shorter. The owner has plans for the truck down the road but all I am doing are the doors. did you use the English wheel on the outer panels? you do great work but from the pictures they look flat.
The doors do have crown to them and they were done on an english wheel. The doors were done on sort of a budget, they are very simple in construction. If I was going to spend the time on them I would have made the inner structure a little different and I would have used my power hammer to put more shape in the skin. Thanks, Jon.S.
