  4. If someone does one of these on an S10, post some pictures. I keep passing a great big 2-tonner on a farm when I go to where we keep our junk and I have a title-less S10 longbed, I keep thinking I should buy that big Stude and throw the cab on the S10 frame.

  5. I've always liked those M5 Studebakers, keep the pics coming.

Spent the afternoon with the m5. Buffed the paint and it shined up nice.Looks like it might have had a repaint.Just a little darker green than the original.Got it started and it runs very well.New points and plugs and cap it will purr..The biggest problem wil be finding tires that wont kill my wallet.Anybody got some 650x16 or 600x16 they want to get rid of?

I have collected the parts to do this, just have to get started. The "big" trucks use the same fenders except studebaker added two inch spacers to kick the fenders out for the wider track width. You would just need to remove the spacers and find an M5 bed with fenders. Finding the M5 bed was the hardest part where I live. Mostly big trucks around here. The s10 longbed is a few inches longer in the wheelbase but you can grind the welds on the frame and slide the rear into the front section and reweld to the proper wheelbase. Track width on the s10 is a little narrow so you'll want wider wheels or spacers. Maybe go with a 4x4 s10 rear which is 2 inches wider than the 2 wheel drive.

Question for the fellas that've eliminated their wing windows:How do you like the one-piece window?
    I'm hating mine.
As soon as I can find all the parts the wings are going back in.
