I finaly found a pair of 50 merc rims so I made the move to L78's on the T. I had 16 X 4.5 ford truck rims with 6.50 X 16 4 inch wide whites before. I like the new look of a bigger tire back there, now to find a couple more trim rings.

The L78's are Coker cl***ics bought them through Universal Tire since Coker didn't come to the Dunkirk,Ny swapmeet last weekend. The fronts are 5.60 X 15's Coker cl***ics on a 50 chevy rim 15 X 5.

    Nice change Phil.
I ran the L78's on both my old truck and 32. They are a natural out back with 15" rims..
The T looks perfect with 'em.

Tony what rim width did you have on the truck ? Last time I was behind Mike they looked wider, figured it must be a wider rim.

15x8 on both the truck and coupe. I liked the way the tire filled out with the wider rim.

Yeah I'm done with tires, gotta get another bullet and trim ring and that'll be that. I'm still thinking about that model A shell for up front but I think the radiator might be a bit tall for it.

That looks slick with the bigger tires on the back. I like the idea of swapping the A grill shell on it if you can figure out how to make it look right.

Yeah that's the problem, I can only lower the radiator about an inch because it's right over the pitman arm. If the top of the radiator isn't below the cowl then I won't change it, the system works good now running 180-190 all day long.
