Some of you may recall that last year I got my hands on a bunch of old drag racing photos that my Dad had taken back in the 50s and 60s... Well, guess what... I found more!!!

Not 100% sure where these were taken, but Dad thinks it have been the World Series of Drag Racing in Lawrenceville, IL...
No matter where, they're just plain cool!!!

Outstanding!! Thanks for posting...I am not sure of the identities of these, but wonder if the Cad-powered dragster in the first photo was Bill Hopper (later of Cyr and Hopper, won top eliminator at '58 NHRA Nats.) and Red Hensley (later of Hensley and Cook fuel modified fuel roadster)....I think that the 34 coupe (little Red Riding Hoodlum) was from Texas, but not sure.....

Could be... Like I said, Dads memory gets a bit sketchy at times,
so when he said Lawrenceville, I just went with it.

That's Olin Davis' Hemi-powered "Little Red Riding Hoodlum" from Dallas. I know he's still into hot rods, alive & well. Just wonder what ever happened to the car...
