Can anyone recommend a good/reasonably priced driveshaft shop in Western Washington (North King or south Snohomish county)? I need to have a shaft shortened, welded and balanced. Thanks.

  2. Drivelines Northwest, sorry but in Tacoma.

Don't know about Spokane, but I discovered that Drivelines Northwest has a shop in Everett. Dropped my driveshaft off there yesterday, just in time for the three-day weekend. Oh well, if that turns out to be the biggest delay I run into, I'll be just fine.

Thanks. I have in-laws in Everett so that would work. It will be a while before I need to have one made. Good Luck on your project!

Oh, and don't forget to take the front yoke with you. They will need it when they balance the assembly. I didn't know that.
And thanks. Good luck with yours, too.

In case anyone is interested. Drivelines Northwest finished up my driveshaft. They shortened it, phased it, and welded on a new custom rear yoke. Installed two new U-joints. Balanced the assembly. And painted it up so that it looks new. The cost, with tax, license and dealer prep, was $203.
