I have a 1960 Chevy Parkwood Staion Wagon with a bad fuel sending unit. I have not been able to get it up on a lift yet to see if you have to drop the tank down to get to it? Does anyone have any pictures or technical informaton show the locaton of the sending unit.

    Thanks

Don't think you will have to drop the tank to get to the sender. Engineers didn't do that much back then. I think you can get it just behind the third member..

On my 58 Chev wagon it was behind the rear end and you could get to it. Although I don't remember it being that hard to pull the tank out if you need to. Sorry no pics and car is gone

I just look at my tank on my 59 it's the same as your 60 the sending unit is on the right side of the tank about half way down so u shouldn't have to drop the tank to swap it out
