You sure have a passion for the 'old school' stuff. That makes me hope even more that you make it to the Albert Lea car show...would love to meet the 'coupe' and the man behind it.

It's going to be tough finding a 32. Too bad you missed the one on Ebay. I checked with some guys locally that sell OLD cars & parts regarding a 32 body..no luck, but he was going to ask around. Neat to look around and see all t those 30s bodies, flatheads & other junk. Ooops! Flatheads...junk...no way.

I was working on getting ready for the garage tour and forgot about the end of the auction.

I'm going to Dan's Old Cars, soon. He had that '32 tudor sedan, on ebay, you found and see if we can make a deal on one, but still looking!
    Thanks

    Dam this is old!
Left handed lug nuts and threads!
It's hard to find shank type lug nuts, then left handed lugs on top of it!

Well done for now, we'll have to make the runners wider later. Our tires don't fit.

Jokes on you, I haven't put one on yet.
So, now they see why I need a race car.
So, I quit beating that poor thing!

Things have been quiet here for a while. I was expecting to hear a beautiful sound and see burning tires.
I hope this isn't the way it's going to end...silence.

    Mike,
Have you decided if you're coming to Albert Lea or Austin with 'Thumper'?

It's just 2 weeks until 'Cochran Days' here in A.L.

The lack of posts on this thread and others shows how busy everyone gets with outdoor activities once summer hits. Gotta enjoy it while we can.

    Sorry, I haven't posted lately.

I haven't touch the '32 coupe since the shows.

I've been so busy with everything else. My son is turning 16 in July, so we are getting ready to build his '67 pickup to drive.

I was hoping to hear from Gene W., I'd hoped he had the answers that I need to finsh it.

As far as Eddie Cochran Days, I was still planning on bringing it down June 11,12 and 13th in Austin if they'll have us.
That's where I hoped we could find more out about the car.

I have a 292 and a 301. But one of the heads is cracked that came with the car and don't know what heads they ran on it. Need more info to finsh it.

Like to Thank Tomjac for all the leads on 32 bodys, some were to much and I missed two great deals, one missed the end of the auction and one ended one day before the auction was to end. Keep it up! Are you planning on stopping in and saying hi?

    Well Thanks,
    Mike

I'll definitely be at the 'Eddie' Days Friday night and Sat show...if you're there I'll certainly say howdy. If you go to Austin I'll try to get over there. It would give me chance to try out the new front suspension on my 37 (I was told it would be finished this week).

Just let everyone know when & where you plan to go with the 32.

    Thanks for checking in.

Ya, 1:00-4:00 or later, Sunday June 13th, in Austin, At Mower Country Customs, across from a park (sorry). For a meet and greet for anyone that remembers the car and Thumpers.

For anybody that wants to share any of their stories and please bring any pictures that you have!

We'll be at Eddie Cochran Days, Saturday June 12th, with the car.

    Thanks Mike

Again sorry for the wrong info. We are meeting at MOWER COUNTY CUSTOMS in Austin, Mn. and there is a park across from there that we may end up at.

We'll meet in side MCC if it rains.

    Thanks

Thanks for making it to Eddie Cochran Days in Albert Lea Mike. I hope the trip was worthwhile. The weather cooperated friday night, but the early rain Saturday sure cut number of cars that would usually show up.
It was nice to meet the real trksmth & 33 ply 440.

Well we made it back late last night.

I would like to thank everyone from Austin, for rolling out the red carpet.

I meet so many great people and all were helpful in our hunt for info about the car.

We now have six time slips and more pics. I'll post asap.

We did stop in Albert lea and showed it at two shows. We meet many people that remember the car. They were helpful too. Thanks to the Low Buck Car Club.

It was great to meet (Ron)33ply440, (Tom)tomjac and (Tom)TallTom from the H.A.M.B.

There must of been fifty plus that showed up on sunday, that stopped to say hello.

Thanks, again to everybody and the ones I've forgotten.

Here is some more pics of the B/Coupe Coupe.

The first two pics is when it was red.

The third pic is after it was painted blue/green, front was chromed and green windows were installed.

Looks like it waiting to make a pass as the track.
