welcome, nice cars. i live right off the 10 fwy on Atlantic just a few blocks. maybe we'll meet up one day. the background in those pic look familiar. you wouldn't be right off of Peck Rd. would you?
i can see the hamb logo now.... "IGGY VALENZUELA.....AN HIS FLYING LINCOLN" and there will be a picture of you a the back lot of the movie studios holding that big orange vw in your hands and sticking it in metalflake man's *** saying "EAT IT" welcome to the hamb ...... and welcome to el monte but there's nothing like pacoima! "how could you do this to rtchie"? "to ritchie"?....i did this to myself ok"? later , axle

Welcome G i ****ing love 59-60 lincolns... they look so good with just a little cutom work if you are ever behind the orange curtain dont hesitate to give me a shout...
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. : LOWSPRINGS: My buddy lives off Atlantic at the 60 near Garfield HS. Yeah. Im off Peck. I cant give you an exact location cause the witness protection program frowns on that (ha ha). I was checking out your Blackwidow site a while back. I was thinking about giving you a call to get some pricing on a little work for the Lincoln. Cherry Blossom: Thanks for the VW respect. Dont want to start an old HAMB debate but whats more traditional than a car with fat fenders, WWs, lowered, home built, painted in my garage by me, with a full Mexican blanket/tiki interior and customer steering wheel all done lowbuck style by yours truly. **** REYNOLDS: uhhmm Mr. Reynolds. Youre one of the reasons I got hooked on the HAMB. Best name ever. Have you been back to El Monte lately? Its still the same but the housing prices have multiplied by 5!!!!! Houses go far 400K and you still have to drive to Monrovia for a decent cup of coffee. FoMoCo MoFo: Thanks for the compliment. A lot of peple dont seem to appreciate the styling of the 58-60 Linc I digem. Best part about the car is that everywhere I go some cabeza de coco (knucklehead) always wants to know what kinda Cadillac Im driving . Or they tell me how much they like the car but how they are looking for a Cadillac. Whats the Orange Curtain? I have a orange bug, shirt, hat and just about everything else but a orange curtain would be kooky! AXEL: Dont mean to make fun of your dyslexia but shouldnt the L be were the X is and vis-versa? Please dont disrespect the MetaFlake Man I hear hes like a GOD in this site. He says that hes the ginchiest! Thanks to you I have an overwhelming urge to watch La Bamba, while listening to the Paladins, and throwing up on myself (tuxedo optional). Take care of Rosa!
WHAT CHICANOS IN EL MONTE????? That did it I'm moving to the OC.. Santa Ana sounds like a nice all American town.
Welcome to the hamb. I dig your rides. The Lincoln is cool, and the Bug is bad ***. No need to apologize for the car, its a beauty.
Thanks HudsonCustom. Like many on this board and many in "the scene" I started out as a Cal VW guy and it never left me. Whatever happened to Volksrodder?
ritchie knocks on donna's door......but her mother answers instead.......ritchie respectfully but firmly asks..."may i speak to donna"?...."look, i know she's here" she gets donna and when donna opens the door you can hear her father yell from the distance "AND HE PLAYS THAT GOD DAMN JUNGLE MUSIC NEED I SAY MORE" not too surprising though as a couple of weeks prior ritchie walked donna home from school and when they both arrived at her house donna's father drove up in that silver/blue 56 caddy barritz...when he got out of the car he asked "SO, WHO'S THE NEW BOY"? donna shrugged her shoulders and replied "JUST A FRIEND" the father then responded by saying..."WHAT IS HE...ITALIAN"?
Everytime I see one of those old Lincolns, I think of Barris and Satrbird. They look like old customs in stock condition! My best friend loves '59 Caddys as the finest car ever built. Poor guy. '59 Caddys are cool but these Lincolns are just nuts.
