Bring Your Beater & Join Us For The 3rd Annual Pre-Beatersville BBQ Hootenanny! We started the BBQ in 2008 as an early gathering for friends, car clubs & out-of-towners headed to the Beatersville Car & Bike Show on Memorial Day weekend. This year, we'll be BBQ-ing again in the back yard of our house in Valley Station - with BBQ from Shack in the Back, hamburgers, hot dogs & PBR. This is a free event supported by Pete Stone, Holly Johnson, Patrick Charlebois and the Tennesses Poor Boys, so food & beer are limited. Feel free to bring your own brew or a side dish! Don't want to pay for a hotel? We have a small field behind our house so bring your tent and spend the night. Please RSVP to Pete at thedoctor@ilexlapis.com. Parking: Our house is located at 8403 3rd Street Road, 40272, at the corner of 3rd & Herbert. There is a large field behind the house with plenty of parking, accessible from Herbert Lane. Sounds fun. That's cool of you guys to offer the camping spots. ...It's easy to have too much fun at Beatersville to drive home
Cool Pete! And the poor boy tag on it is a nice touch. We will post this up on our site as well and promote it locally as always. Word travels about quickly here in the TN about the great time had at your place each year and the coolness of the Beatersville show. Look forward to it, as it is the start of our summer run. Let us know what we can do to help. I've got some dark brew covered for us-no doubt.
Most of the Rod Kings will be at Beatersville, as we will be hosting a meet & greet for all HAMB'ers. We will mark our calendar for the BBQ.
It is almost time for BBQ and Brew....................looking forward to familiar faces and meeting new friends................
The excitement is building. We love this show! I think I pretty well have my '40 sorted out for the trip (about 120 miles for us). ...guess I'll find out.
We have installed a gate between the back field and the backyard.......easier access to the Beer and BBQ...............
Thanks Pete and Holly for putting up with the poor boys and being such great hosts! And Pete, welcome to the poor boy family....you fit in right!!!
