I have not seen any ... so I cannot say anything about them.
I have used Lobeck's running boards many times and the fit was always good.
THEN ... Bob Drake came out with his.
I called up LoBecks and ordered a set of their running boards ( wanting the LoBeck ones ) and they sent me Bob Drake ones  After looking at the set of Bob Drakes ones I had just opened, I called Lobeck to ask WHY I got Bob Drakes when I ordered LoBeck ones ... they said it was easier for them to just sell Bob Drake ones than making their own :(

The Bob Drakes were OK ... but they have Bob Drake stamped in the metal on them. I also believe the rubber looks old and dull ... a lot quicker ( not as BLACK )

I will say that a LOT of the Vintique stuff does not fit very well ... and a LOT of their stuff is JUNK ... IMHO.
But then ... most reproduction stuff is JUNK and does not fit as well as Henry's original stuff.

While I have not actually fit a set of Vintiques (our roadster has V8 Shop/Lobeck's), we have sold several sets of Vintiques and have not had any negative feedback (or positive for that matter).

    Hope that helps.

I have not used thier running boards but i just installed a set of thier covers on a set of original boards. They were a pain to install but they look great when they are done.

I don't know about the Vintique boards, But I can tell you Lobecks recently did another batch of there own V-8 Shop boards. I got a set a couple months back and the looks and fit is nice.

How did you install the covers? Did you have instructions from Vintique?
I inherited a set of Vintique covers with my project and being cheap would like to use them but my first effort was a failure. I used a contact adhesive (Australian brand) and glued the large area down leaving the ends for another day. When I got them out to finish off the ends I found that they hadn't stuck and peeled off real easy. What adhesive did you use and any tips on how to do it just the one time?

If it's tough job to install it I'll need lots of patience. Don't they come with instructions? What I'm thinking is, how it'll look if I don't install it correctly?

I did install the running boards. Not the best but not the worst. Had to redrill all the holes to get them to fit good.Look good on the car.
