Looks aside, if you want a set, I can make some quite easily. They'll be a little more expensive- hand made- than commercial ones, buit if you can't find what you want elsewhere, it's an option.

I'm laughing SOOOOO hard right now...Everyone says-"build what you like, it's yours!" then when someone DOES, it's "Jeezy creezy, eggs and beezy, what the hell were you thinking with that sheeeit?". Not tryin' to step on anyone's toes, but the kid just asked where he could get them, not how you felt about them.

I cut my ankle just thinking about those.

The dude is just asking questions. That's how we all learn. No need to get all stabby on him.

C'mon. At least those darn crying baby dolls you see at car shows would have something to cry about. Just impale them on your lugnuts.

I'm not building what anyone here would call a traditional hot rod, so it doesn't matter to me.

I really like a lot of the traditional rods I see here, and a lot of the traditionaly inspired ones too (Littleboy Coupe, Littleman's Death's Doorstep, etc). I try not to piss on anyone here, and I try not to be critical of anyone's tastes. Personally I get tired of seeing the same old same old, but eventually everything becomes done at least once, and after it's done it's no longer new again.

Regardless, I'm building my project for me, it's been a long time coming, and plans have changed along the way, as have my tastes. But the basic dream is still only mine, and I'll do it my way regardless of anyone elses opinion. So, no offence taken by me and thanks to those who agree that we should do things our own way and to hell with the rest.

It's for looks. As a secondary function it holds the wheel on.

As long as they don't stick past the fenders, who gives a rats ass, they won't cut you. Very Unique, and looks ok. I kind like the cars that look like you need a Tetanus shot to ride in them....

"Think about the kids"??!!! How about you do your job as a parent and watch your damn kids so they don't get into something they aren't supposed to! The little nose pickers shouldn't be even remotely close to my car anyway, much less within a few inches from the wheel! Maybe they would learn not to touch shit that isn't theirs and the parents might learn to keep their eyes peeled for the safety of their spawn! Why should it be my responsibility to keep the rug rats safe if their own parents don't accept the job?

Oh BTW... the lugs nuts aren't my thing, but go ahead and knock yourself out making / finding them for your ride. No biggie.

    Have a nice day. :)

Well, I don't have any kids, I don't work where there are kids, I don't take my truck to shows, and I try not to drive so close to poeple in general that my lug nuts could touch them. As for anyone touching my vehicle or getting so close that they could possible get their legs scraping against my wheels, I guess that's their problem, and probably not a big one either. What's worse, the very unlikely possibility of someone scratching their shin or foot on some lug nuts, someone banging their leg on a drop hitch on the back of a regular pick-up, or someone burning their arm on open headers on a "traditional" rod?

I can tell you, I've had many a bad bruise from drop hitches, and I still have the burn scar from coming close to my first traditional hot rod with chrome headers. Can't think of the last time I had anyone run me down with spiked lug nuts.

oh, and I like them because they are different...My two cents about them being "sharp"...Children should be taught not to touch other people's things. My dad would have whooped my behind if I touched other people's rides at shows we went to. It's just respect.

Parents should watch there kids ,I personally took my girls to a show and they are not interested in cars ,They like different colors and I made sure they did not get close to anyones car ,Same goes for my car......

They would be cool if they each had little cast pewter rats on them.

    Like cool headlights do.
