Just got a new speedway flier yesterday.. It seems they have caught on to the demand for the "Spider Caps". They now sell repops of the old cal custom spiders. They call them "bullet style hub covers". They only list the 4 1/2 and 4 3/4 bolt patterns. The price is 139.95 for a set of four. I think this is a lot cheaper then the "Moon" ones. They are also listed as "chrome steel" construction. Speedway now has a 10"wide by 30" tall blackwall cheater slick on radial core at 149.95 each. These are for 15" rims. The caps are not on the web site yet. Dale

hope this pic works. i think some people call the center rings, Glamour rings? Ennyways, i am looking for a set for mid to late 50's ford 15" rims. IF anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated ($$$) They are for my pops car. He does way too much stuff for me, so it would be nice to be able to repay him a little.

Hi Spoons. Could you do me a favor and measure the I.D. of the center cone and also the length "height" of the cone. We are using 56 ford p.u. front brakes and they have a rather large hub. I dont know that it would fit up into the spider cap. thanks, Dale

I tried to order a set and could not find them on their web site. I have had the flier for a while but just went to order 2 weeks ago.

I do believe that an adapter plate goes under the lug nuts and the chrome bullets that are all on another plate screw to the adapter with small countersunk screws.

What bolt pattern do you have? Speedway told me that they only come in 5x4 1/2 and 5x4 3/4. Thanks again for the use of the pic.

I am running a set of Cal-Custom "Beauty Rings" (CC's name for them) on my Falcon. There is no way they are going to come off by themselves. They are TIGHT and were difficult to put on. I was afraid of dinging them, but I had to use a towel and rubber mallet. I'm actually worried about how to get them off without damage.

Go ahead and run yours, Rat. They look good. I am hoping the rest of my neighbors don't know what they are and therefore have no desire to rip them off.

I have a couple of sets of hard-to-find 4-lug CC spiders that I will run in the spring/summer. Good to hear there's another option for the 5-lug wheels.
