Check out Made For Glory Signs. They area in the East Bay, but are willing to travel. They are traditional sign painters, and hot rodders too.
MIKE CLINES !! without a doubt!! he just did our lakester at the shop!! if you want rad striping?? do clines!! end of story. also there is jim mosier, who is an awesome sign painter!! remember clines is spawned from the great in 1956 where he learned fron Von dutch himself!! pay more, but you get the best!!
If you are in the O.C. I recommend Steve Stanford. Have not seen or heard from him in over 25 years since he moved out of the S.F.V. He use to do all my stuff and was the man back in the day. Steve worked out of Carter Pro Paint's in Chatsworth and did all of Bill's lettering, striping and graphics. Don't even know if he is in the business anymore.
You could also give Alan Johnson a call. He's a East coaster, but he is out that way a lot. He is truely great.
A few that I've done in my shop. www.pwhetstone.com Since you're in the Sacto area , I too would recommend my buddy Mike Clines , he'll do you right .
