    is that a 30-31 model A? sedan I think? I HOPE it isnt a 32!

the owner sure looks happy though!

HANKCASH has a pic of a yellow (I think) shoebox with gullwing doors

I like the doors when they are on a delorean much better

  9. Looks like someone with a lot of skill put a lot of hard work into something they are proud of. They are supposed to care about your opinion... why?

There are a lot worse monstrosities out there, and if someone builds it, drives it and likes it, more power to them.

Go work on your own fucking car, newbie.

I wonder if he is planning on replacing that axle, and putting in a M2? I'll take it. "If she had a pair of these doors I know she could fly'

  11. I hope he hits his head on the corner of the door every time he gets in

    What he said.
    Especially the last line.

And don't forget to only use all the right vintage parts on it.
And don't waver from either 38-39 Ford tear drop or 46 Chevy or 51 Pontiac tail lights.
and paint it with the same flat black paint and red wheels as all the other "rebels"

Whether this car fits into your narrow little mind's idea of what YOU think should be is of no importance to anyone.
Actually that car IS traditional in late 50's-'60's style thought.
Guy's have been cutting gull wing doors into various cars ever since Mercedes did it to the 300SL coupe in the mid 50's.
I know of a Red metalflake '49 Merc 4 door that's been 2 doored on the driver's side and had the rear door on the passenger side cut into a gull wing similar to that one.
The interior is "Den of Iniquity" crushed red velvet pussy packer whore house plush. the car is bizzarre to the stars but so far out there it's BITCHIN!
    Ah, what's the use...
People get a new religion (some newbie's act like greaserdom is a religion) and they want to crucify everyone who doesn't and/or hasn't already conformed to their exact thoughts.

(Please excuse me, I'm a little slow on the belittleing this morning. I've only had 1/2 a cup of Java so far.) [IMG]

  13. I'm with you, DRJ! There are a bunch of people who've got it in their head that a custom is a custom only if it's done the way they would do it. Same with rods. I've always had a problem fitting into other people's molds, and ain't gonna start now. If I want to mix styles and eras, I will. I was there in the "old" days, and guys used what they had, what they could afford, and did some weird shit if it suited them. We still do. If the "religious" types cry and gnash their teeth, so much the better. At least we know they're paying attention.

Wolfman Nick- Do you still do that internet radio show? I forgot when/where it's on...... if you still do it, would you PM with the link and times?

Oh, the car's not my style, but I agree it'd be better orange, I don't know why..... maybe some furry interior too.

What??? does that make you "somebody", being on the cover of a rag I wouldn't even wipe my ass with?

and the car....lot of hard work there [IMG]

  20. Oh gosh, sorry sir, you're on the cover of a magazine? Gee, I hope I didn't offend you with my flippant remark, your coolness. I guess your opinion does mean more than the rest of ours, and you are forever granted the right to be a dickhead.

It takes a really big man to point fingers and belittle some other guys work.

    How about contributing something positive?
