Hot Rods EMHC (El Mirage Hamb Club) June meet (PICS ADDED 6-14)

We now have 36 members!!! Now how many of you are going to be at the June event? The race is June 13th but we will be out there June 12th in the afternoon. I relize there is ALOT going on in SoCal this June, but you should try to make it, the weather should be nice and HOT!

Sorry.Can't make June. 'Gonna be at Havasu to see if THE new CLAY SMITH roller in my
BBC in the old Campbell will work as well as the dyno says. So I'll be hotter than you guys. I will be up for July, even hotter.

Can't make this meet, but should be out there in July. The father in law sold the 40 ford dirt tracker so no-one has to worry about me doing donuts in the middle of "future tracks", over by the ATV area where all the dune buggies, trail bikes and quads do donuts every week of the year

 

I'll be there breakin' in the next batch of rookies. Come by the starting line and say hello.

 

I'll be there Sat. Get through tech and the other BS. Was at a Road Runners meeting tonight. High praises for rookie orientation. Good job!

missed yall ! ya must have been racing and I didnt know where to find ya , but i left a message on the banner.... it was rad to see some of my other friends I hadnt seen in a while out there though and the new ones I found as well...

I was 20 yards from the bellytanker as it ran off course after spinning through the last gate at 194 mph wheeeewweeee that had to be a rush ...

 

That was my camp, wasn't much of a crowd of HAMB'rs all weekend. A few dropped by kuai, bigredtod, MCTIM64, GOOD SEEIN YOU GUYS!
I"ll post some pics tonite when I get home.

 

As always, had a great time "Screwball" had a fuel pump problem. Leaned out way to much on the top end. Could only manage 107 on its one run. But nothing broke and I met a couple of HAMBers. One had a test fit on the sidecar. Looks good. Might have set him in it and see how he goes!

I don't know what it is about being in "race mode" but I never even saw that HAMB baner. From the looks of the picture I couldn't have missed it! But I did!! Sorry 'bout that, hopefully next month we can make it by.

Otherwise my son Kevin did well, 208.06 on a 208.64. Hey, if it were easy why would you do it.
