Yup, another San Fransisco barn find...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by theloosecannon707, Jun 2, 2010.

  1. So today i found a cool looking barn just north of San Jose off the freeway on my way back from the airport,... knowing me i looked in, around, on top, and underneath it. what i found was a m***ive tarp covering an old white and black car, and some older cars loaded up behind a wood fence...

    The covered car had been listed and taken off, and listed, etc...

    You know the story;
    It wasnt for sale, then it was, then it wasnt, then it was, you know how it goes.

    Today it was for sale.

    I plopped down some cash and walked out of this guys barn with 2 cars.

    Brought them both home today, both are running and just needs some ***embly...

    Who wants to come over to my garage and help me bolt her together?

    Cool find, but if that yard is in San Francisco, that is probably about $3-4M worth of dirt those cars are sitting on. I'm guessing more down towards the San Jose area judging by the surroundings. I don't know anyone who can park a few semi trailers on their lot in SF with tons of room to spare for dozens more if needed.

    Lucky guess on the San Jose part, but also just finding a barn in SF alone would be almost a miracle, let alone some sweet cars to go with it. :D

    If cl***ic roadsters and early Rivs grow out of that dirt, I'd say that's about right... Just wondering tho, if you water it with Hi-Test, will it sprout Hemi's or Shelby's? :D

    Photobucket sometimes does that when you exceed your bandwidth. Upgrade to a pro account [ripoff] or upload the pics from your hard drive directly onto the HAMB.

    No need to repost either, just go back and edit your original post. :D
