Hi,this might be a long shot but I am looking for a stolen a coupe.It belongs to a friend of mine,he was living in Dallas-Garland,Tx. The day before halloween 2 years ago it was swipped from his apartment complex along with a barrowed trailer that it was on.This car was bought by his dad in 57'his parents were married in it,he & his brother were brought home from the hospital after birth in this old car.It means alot to him,It is a rough mostly original old 30'a coupe flat black,pop evans head,It had a skull & crossbones on the rear quarters & it said black terror beside it.It also had winnsburrow written in shoe polish down the side,There was a big spring whip antenna mounted on the rear roof panel.I think the thieves were after the trailer not the car,because there was a totaly restored A on another trailer right next to it.My friend can identify it if anyone knows of it's where abouts,He & his dad know every inch & every repair spot on it.He just wants the car back,he has another rusty body that I would help him rebuild,but it's not his dads car.I just thought it might have resurfaced after being hidden for 2 years.Thanks Charles Boucher
Elrod is sure to see this...he's in the model A club in Dallas....might be able to help, or at least spread the word.
You should post some pics for your buddy, it might help someone remember if they've seen it somewhere.

My friend is a dallas model a club member,they posted it on their site when it happened,I just thought maybe someone stashed it until it cooled off,2 years might be long enough,before trying to do something with it.It also had miss matched color A model wheels on it I think 1 was yellow & one was red.The trailer that it was on was red.Thanks Guys.
Yeah. I know the guy who's car got stolen. I actually saw that car only once right before the Winnsboro tour because I had just gotten my car about a month before his was stolen, and he was trying to talk me into going along on the tour as well. I hope he finds it, but chances are, it now looks nothing like it did when it was taken from the apartment parking lot. It had a pretty rough metal roof insert on it too if I remember correctly.
