One wire alternator

Without all the one wire opinions please , but what gauge wire would you use on a one wire 75 amp alternator? 4 gauge? 8 gauge? Something smaller?

My '57 & both race cars I have are 8 gauge wire

 

10 ga. will work great.

 

Yeah I use 10. Works fine

 

Never used anything heavier than 10 gauge myself. How often will you be pulling the entire 75 amps?
