I have been thinking about building my kids a go cart size version of a hot rod. I want to fabricate a 33 Ford PU. Been thinking about how I want to fabricate some "mini" versions of real suspension and steering parts. One thing I was trying to find is a miniature airbag. Has anyone seen a smaller than normal airbag or think of something that might use one that I could salvage from something?

I've seen a few things on "tot rods", but they all seem to be in the UK. Any good parts dealers for stuff like this?

Anyone have any pics of something similar they have built?

Use a motorcycle seat air bag. As for God parts you'll need to go to church....

Cool, I guess you got a B&S or something under that faux engine case?

I want to build it as close to the real thing as possible... traditional steering, suspension (except the airbags)... I want it to operate like a real hot rod so the kids can learn a thing or two.

My in-law used to work for Peterbilt so I'll ask him about the seat/cab bags. Thanks.

At least those silly ass motorcycle seat air bags could be used for a decent purpose.
