Its mostly new stuff but there are some V8's on there with open pipes and various mufflers.

The Jimmy White clip is better than ****!

I have a question about the "gears" sample on Baron Von Mikes post. I am ***uming it is a sample taken from Bullet. I believe it is McQueen's Mustang. My question is how are they shifting it? Is the driver shifting it clutchless or is he revving the motor during a double clutch? I always get goosebumps hearing that shift and I have always been curious as to how they were doing it.

    Sorry to highjack..

Yes, that must be the Bullitt sound. I am sure he is just blipping the throttle to make it sound cool, you don't need to double clutch a '67 Mustang. Besides, he is shifting way to many times, but I don't care. Love the chase scenes !

I still have a need for a Mustang Fastback with Americans, but that's a different story.

Yeah that Stang has way too many gears but I really dig the sound and the chase scene. I didn't think he was double clutching but maybe he was shifting clutchless. I drive for a trucking company and we have an old Ford that in order to drive clutchless you have to blip the throttle to pull it out of gear and blip it again to get it into the next gear. Makes kinda a tricky ride when downshifting to a stop. Of course it doesn't sound like the Stang but for awhile it only ran straight pipes and it had quite a nasty growl..

I was always told he was double clutching, but I know I can't make that sound when I do it! [IMG] [IMG]
