That sounds like a bad chop to me.. It's gotta look a little goofy.. 5" in front is quite a bit, but 7 out back? Sheesh, no ones getting any in that back seat.

But I'd still like to see a pic of it..

That's a serious chop. May prove to be a challenging drive. There. My 2 cents has been deposited.:)

    Also...I like it.

That's not terrible, but a little hefty for my taste.. The hood on would help decided if the chop works or not.. Speaking of which, what's up with the extended looking cowl??

Even though the chop is pretty radical, it can work!! If the rear is brought down to the lowest possible with air ride and raising the wheel wells, the car will have a much better flow. Finished with shiny paint this chevrolet has a lot of potential IMO!!

Great point. Maybe it was left off to compensate for the limited view i.e. can't see past the nose.

that was My initial thought as well.. But a Custom should look "right" when its going down the road At regular ride height as well as parked laid out.. I think putting this car almost on it's frame would reallyhelp the overall flow, goingdown theroad might it might still look a little squashed up top.. IMO.

And it will never look finished with out a hood no matter how shiny the paint is.

But I agree it has potential. Its just right on the line between "tasteful" and "shock value"... Be careful of it will fall off the fence.

I think that chop is overdone, it just doesn't enhance the car at all.
Here's mine right after I chopped it, (I think 3 1/2" and 5") These were taken last year, I've made a lot of changes to it since, I gotta roll it outside for some pictures again.
