building a t bucket, should i use the bed or not?

Sombody already stated it; but with the late model rearend; combined with a storage compartment (rain gear takes space; wish my roadster had a real trunk).... The bed should be a go. Can also hide a battery back there with a bed...

 

I vote with the "use the bed" crowd. It looks great with it... plus all the practical storage, tank, battery, stuff too.

i would personally say a bed, just because if you want to take a cooler to a show or some chairs, or even put a little cover on the bed you could ya know? im sure it would be nice to have some space when you needed it. id rather have somethin and not need it, than need it and not have it. plus beds look pretty cool on them

Same here. But i just recently put the front plate on my T-Bucket. Since the state is broke the CHP has really started to nail people for no front plate. To the tune of a $170 fine.

 

I'd run a bed. Nothing sucks worse than lack of storage space. Just make it easy to take on and off so you can change things up.

The truck looks great either way.

 

Gas tank, no bed. If you want room to carry shit, build a Fordor or get a repro Mullins trailer.

 

With this guy 100%! Right now it may not matter but if you daily driver this ride then every time you park it you will have to unload it and put everting valuable on you. Plus my neighbor's son put a fuel shut off valve in the back of his so he can cut it off as a saftey feature. Every time he had to unlock it anyway to put things in there like his laptop (after work) or what ever. It is just a good general idea.

Well, I like the look without the bed, and since your asking, I think you're fuel tank is to big and round, a smaller one would look great.

I thought about adding a box. The extra storage room would be nice. But adding the weight of a box to my car would lower the horse power to weight ratio. It's already bad enough, then add my Fat butt it gets worse...
It seems to me that Tees were first built with thought that " less is better" Those are just my thoughts.
