yes, you'll want rubber to insulate it. what transmission are you running?

the model A transmission had a cast mount that went over the lip of the center crossmember. you will probably have to clearance the center crossmember and after that you just need tabs flanking the tail shaft with stock mounts on them.

heres the brackets i built for my mount. be sure to brace back to tie the whole crossmember together as well, in stock form its kinda flemsy

If your looking for a place to attach your rear sway arms this is a good place to do it as well. the plate just below the transmission mount bolt is where mine is attached, you just cant see it with the linkage in the way

ill have to get some pics tomorrow at the shop, but i took the pedal shaft from my A transmission and welded it to a plate which is then welded to the frame. the linkages still need some touch up work lol, but it is all working perfect. get pics to ya asap

you can also brake some 12/14 gauge and turn the crossmember into a k-member and just use a set of 1939 ford pedals. you won't have to do much to them besides heat and bend them in since they are going in a much narrower car than they were designed for.

here ya go. like i said, still needs some touch up work, but everythings in its place. let me know if you decide to go this route and need some more help

btw the big straight linkage goes to the brake cross shaft, im still using the mechanical brakes. its alot of work to get clearance for the brake cross shaft
