    Just wanted to know who on here is from SE iowa or iowa in general or nothern missouri.

    anyone know of any REAL rod shops around the area.

    Hey Matt I am in Mu****ine.A friend of mine has a one man rod shop closeby. Dave lane has Fast Lane rod shop just north of the Quad Cities. He's built George Potett's Black Model A that won a bunch of awards and is working on another for him that is going to be even better i guess.

    Corn Fed did some time in Fort Madison, but he's out now and lives in Bondurant. I live in Marshalltown, not really SE though.

    I've talked to Dave Lane of Fastlane and he's a cool guy. Just runs a one-man shop, and seems to be booked up with high-dollar stuff. But give him a call if you need something done.

    Yes, that was a long 3 years of my life. Still got some good hot rodder prison guard friends from that stint!!! C.F.

    Sorry Troy...hope everybody is ok over there. I could walk across thee reever on the ice flows and check for rock damage but I lied about the rocks. All I can find here is ice chunks and snow balls.
