Thanks Doug for the great pictures - now I know why I do not need to take a camera with me. Elmer Snyder is actually 84 yrs young and he dialed in at 12.05 and broke out at 12.00 - old racers just go faster!

Now I really feel OLD....that was almost 50 years ago, at Lions...probably about 1962, when I was 11.
Thanks for remembering...that means a lot to me. I had no idea at the time that I'd make a living in photography and could only have hoped as a kid that my love for this hobby would last my lifetime...You don't get much luckier than that....
And, thank goodness for this place, too. Otherwise all my old photos would still be in that cardboard box somewhere....for over 40 years, nobody wanted to see them.....:)

Doug, that is a cool pic of Kendra in her roadster - and she was beating on it down the strip, very cool - plus she built the thing herself as well.

  24. One day I will meet the famous Mazooma1. I should have looked up when I was checking out the black roadster. It was a great day with a lot of fine machinery. I feel lucky that we have that track!

Holy cow! Doug, you're seizing up my iPhone and my brain with these awesome photos. I'm going to have to check this out better on the desktop later. This looks like a seriously cool event. I need to get down for the next one. Tons of kick *** cars in action. Hard to beat something like that. Thanks for posting this up!

Great coverage as always Doug. I know that if your going to an event, I don't need to bring my camera.

I got home late last night and didn't get a chance to down load my dash cam video yet. I'll post some footage when I get home tonight.

I also would like to thank my employers that allowed me a day off from my responsibilities at the fine correctional facility I work at. Unfortunately I will now have to hide all of those carrots I didn't cut yesterday. You would think the lonely women at this ins***ution would prefer them whole.
