I was wondering if anyone knew how much a 32 ford tudor sedan weighs? I am thinking of getting a motorhome and need to know, based on my trailer, if I will be over the gross combined vehilce weight rating for the motorhome I'm thinking of. I know I'll probably get tonnes of flak just for asking this question cause I'm towing the car to the meets and not driving but hey that's life. Thanks in advance for any help.
Most with a later model V8 and driveline ( with A/C ) weigh just @ 3,000 lbs. I watch a bunch of cars weigh in @ Louisville on the UPS scale. My roadster was high 2,200 and I would guess my 32 3W is about 27/28 hundred. .
"The 1932 Ford Book" by the Early Ford V8 Club gives 2528 pounds for the Deluxe 2 door with a V8 engine (ref page A-6-2). This weight excludes the spare tire/tube, water and gasoline but everything else you would drive away with. Charlie Stephens
3000lbs sounds just about right for your avatar. My high-boy, fenderless and no interior A sedan weighs in at 2400lbs with deuce frame and late model drivetrain.
Mine is a Hiboy with a small block chevy, muncie, 9", 40 ford steel wheels. No hood and NO SIDE GL***.. It's 2300
