We are getting more and more details for Billetproof Detroit worked out. We are about 99% of the way to having figure 8 races. The walk in fee will be going to $10 to cover it. But that $10 gets you a FULL day of sweet rides and then a whole night of figure 8 racing. There will be a bonus added to the winning purse if you are driving a pre-'65 car. I'll keep everyone updated on rules and info as it comes around. Yes we're still having the burnout contest again.

The guy, Boomer, who's running it has hosted figure 8's before and knows what he's doing so it should be a blast.

We drove to the tiny itty bitty "town" that was nearby to find potty's - they wouldn't let us use them at the only thing open (liquor store), so we ended up going to the community pool.....They had potties in the changing area. (NO we didn't P in the OOL.)
I was just cleaning out a cooler, that's been in my trunk since The Hunnert, and found the stack of flyers my car collected for me. One was Billetproof Detroit... Stuck that fucker on the fridge and said... "I'm goin'!" Now I get figure-8s, too... I'm so blessed. See ya there... JOE

[/ QUOTE ] I sure hope you do. Bring two and I'll race one for you! a nd No, the track is not Flat Rock, it's about an hour and a half north of Flat Rock. If you look on a map find 75 heading north outta Detroit till you come to a town called Clarkston. It's right around that area.
