My name's Jeremy and I'm from Grand Rapids, MI. I was raised about 35 miles north in a small town where we learned how to fix our cars instead of letting our check books do it. If there's anything I regret, it's not learning the things I know... or want to know sooner. I work for an auto auction as a Mechanical Vehicle Inspector. I basically test drive repossessed cars all day and do mechanical inspections so that we can tell the bank what they'll expect to make on a vehicle at auction. (Basically what they'll lose.) It's a fun gig. Plus, my 25 year old boss is pretty damn hot. I drive a 1971 Plymouth Valiant. It's a 4 door and I like it that way. I like 2 door cars, but I enjoy the old land yacht's of the day too. Someone has to love the fat girls, right? I'm currently learning how to pinstripe. It's something I've always wanted to do, just never had the time. I finally made myself set time aside to learn how to do it. I try to practice every night for a couple of hours. I'm hoping that I can find some helpful hints on here and make some friends.

My car isn't really show material. But I'll certainly check it out. Maybe by that time I'll be ready to do some striping for cash and I'll set up as a vendor.
Welcome, from Muskegon! There's alot of fellow HAMBers from West Michigan. Try the community board for GMB's, it's all Michigan folks, news and notes for local swaps and shows.
