Columbus GoodGuys is 33 days away so I am leaving in the Boogie Van now

So last July I did 4,922 miles in the BoogieVan(a 64 corvair van), and I had such a great time out shooting cars/bikes/trucks/people I have decided to do it even bigger this year. I will start with just a small date calendar of where I will be if anyone even cares lol. I will try to post pics,and stories like last year again this year. If anyone would like family/car portraits along the way I will work for a place to sleep/something to eat/gas money lol. Hope to meet a ton of you guys again this year. Also some of this is not set in stone so I can be bribed if you know of cool cruise nights/awesome shops/cars that need to be featured in a magazine...etc....etc...etc....

Looking forward to seeing you this weekend in Indy and again in Columbus. If at any time you want to visit Detroit (The Henry Ford) I've got plenty of room here at the house.

there is a small model T muesum on I-70 just inside ohio its on the right i havent been there yet myself might be worth a lookie loo ive lived in ohio my entire life never knew it was there until recently ill be in indy and columbus goodguys

O.K quick update 380 miles left to Duquoin sitting in a truckstop typing somewhere in Arkansas. Only one casualty so far I hit a bird outside Nagadoches Tx ripping off my drivers side windshield wiper that I had just bought yesterday lol.

......oh and the millions of bugs I have killed so far in the rolling brick...check out the vent window.

Another update after 20 hours and a side trip to duquoin Illinois we made it to bowling green K.y. The car turnout was amazing looks like we are driving in the rain to Chattanooga today. If you can make it out the van will be in the JBL booth

 

Sorry your not coming thru Va./Dc. but the weekend after Columbus is Super Chevy in Maple Grove Pa. Probably the best SCC around. Great track & grounds in the mtns. of Pa.

My buddies & I hit it every year Fri.- Sun. Worth checking out if ay have the time!

 

if come in on 88 or 39 to chicago you can stop by rochelle il.. can get you somethin to eat or a place to sleep. stop by and see the shop...jones

Hey Doc I am totally down on my way back home I will stop in for a day or so.

 

Well I am 1,475 miles into the roadtrip, and its time to part the power tour. Its been a great time, and I recommend it to everyone. I actually have to start working in the morning shooting a truck here in Birmingham then working my way up to Pigeon forge T.N for the super Chevy show.

On June 26th your in Anderson SC, after the show come on up to Rockwell NC to my 5th annual BackYard BBQ Bash...you know where I live. All the beer you can drink, all the BBQ you can eat, Hot Rods, and a live Band. You know its a good time if there is port a johns and an outdoor sink involved! Come on up!

 

Hey Dustin I am down after that show in S.C I have nothing to do till Heavy Rebel you should find me some cars to shoot........I know you have a couple I want to shoot lol
