Forgot to check the brake fluid after the car has been sitting for a few months(I've been away). A lucky steel fence post stopped my 62 Continental from destroying my Shop and the car. Did scratch the the bumper up pretty bad though.

Today I earned my idiot points.

Ya, it was an o sh*t moment to say the least. Not much will stop a 5000lb car rolling backwards.
I did find out I also need to adjust the emergency brake......

Off topic, I found some stainless steel rocker panel moulding and some rubber window moulding for a 63 Continental. I don't know if it's the same for the 62 you have, but it's yours if you want it. I don't want to throw it away, let me know.

heh yeah thats lucky. I had my brake-line from booster to ch***is t piece snap when i was on the highway doing 70mph. not much fun. still managed to limp it to the end of the highway and to a mates place about 2 mins from there. ditch it, hitch back to my house, grab some line and some tools and fix it up.
